Approach Resources Appoints William Buckler As New VP

Approach Resources Inc. (AREX: News ) announced the appointment of William Buckler, III, as its Vice President, Engineering. In this new position, Buckler will lead the company's engineering, operations and production teams.

Commenting on Buckler's experience and service, the company stated that before joining Approach, Buckler served as Senior Vice President, Operations and Engineering for Chief Oil & Gas LLC. Prior to Chief, he served as Vice President, U.S. Operations at Quicksilver Resources, Inc. Before that, Buckler served as Fort Worth Basin Operations/Engineering Supervisor for Devon Energy, following the Devon/Mitchell merger.

In addition, Approach noted that Buckler is a registered Professional Engineer licensed in Texas, a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and also serves on the Board of the Fort Worth Petroleum Club.
